Recently we got this letter from a man who used to comment on Diplomatic Corps. He writes: “Soon after I left the Embassy I bought an Austin. We don’t have a chauffeur now. My wife has taken over the driving. She drives me to and from the station every day. She drives the children to school. She does the shopping. She drives down to Greenwich Hospital, and to Garden Club meetings.
